Goodnight Moon Feltboard & Brown Bear, Brown Bear hand puppets.

So, every time I make something for my classroom, my son's classroom, or my little one's pre-school, I'm often told that I should put the finished product on pinterest.  Oh boy, but finding the time to give back a little is hard, hard, hard!  One step at a time though! Today I am going to make a start to hit the rewind button and put up a couple of pictures of older projects I have completed (often with the help of a very good friend or two!).  Here are a couple of felt projects we did:

The first one was a Goodnight Moon feltboard request from a pre-school teacher, where the students add the individual elements to the background as the story progresses. The second picture is a collection of Brown Bear, Brown Bear hand puppets we made for the same class, after the teacher said she wished for a more interactive way of sharing the book with the little ones.  (This class is for ages 2.5 - 3.5, and they loved the finished hand puppets!)  I used a basic shape for the hand puppet template in each color, and then added the individual details - ears, feathers, frog eyes etc.  By far the most challenging? That goldfish... I really tried to come up with a design which had it facing forward like the rest, but nothing seemed to work well, so this is what they got!
